The Washington State Grand Lodge Medal of Patriotism

The Medal is given to any person who has shown themselves to be a true patriot in a single, selfless event in which heroism and danger to person or personal property. Also it may be given through long term devotion to the organization in which they have attained the highest position and over an extended period of time has displayed themselves to be a good American. An example is an Eagle Scout whom, for his project he developed a flag education program for the local civic organizations. The medal is for any person who does their best in selfless service for the betterment of America. The award should be typed, double spaced, on no more than two pages, and sent to the awards creator W:. B:. Rick Bonnell, 4808 Fir Tree RD SE, Olympia, WA 98501. Any questions call Rick Bonnell at 360-491-4959. The medal and certificate including shipping and handling cost $10.00. You cannot request the medal for yourself. If the local Masonic Lodge is located near the ceremony, a representative from the lodge should present the medal. A photo should be taken and the information about the recipient included for publication in the local news- letter. The medals are numbered and logged in with the creator.
